Success really is about being prepared! I find my moments of weakness or difficulty comes from when I'm not prepared. I love my new gostak!! It keeps all of my stuff organized and ready to go!
After going back to work, it got really hard for me to keep up with the posting! No I didn't stop after Day 9! I actually kept going and finished. Here are the final results.....
Non-Scale Victories - Clothes fit better -More energy -Three nutrious meals and I don't feel hungry and can avoid snacking! -When the 30 days were there was nothing I felt like I needed to go run out and eat -My cooking skills improved Scale Victories -Lost 18.6 pounds -Down 11% bodyfat Now onto Advocare!!! I am on Day 8 of my cleanse and just become an independent distributer- ask me more about Advocare!! Pictures of cleanse results to come on Tuesday am! https://www.advocare.com/150237241/default.aspx Tonight was the first night when I possibly wanted to keep eating and keep eating... I stopped myself... way sooner than I would have pre-Whole 30, but it got scary for a second. Well Fed recipes might be a little #SWYPO for me. Made me feel like I was really eating Pad Thai- a dangerous thing for me.
Local cafe made all the accommodations I asked for. They brought out their cooking oil and it was 90 olive oil/10 soybean so I asked if the had olive oil only and the answer was yes! She made a note to cook my omlet in only olive oil. A side of fruit although not great seemed better than risking how they might cook vegetables. Today was BAD! Hardest day by far. I felt hungry several times and then made this terrible salad last night which meant today's lunch. Ugh! I was going to order out with some co-workers but it seemed like I would need to ask too many questions and never feel completely sure everything was compliant... So I sucked it up and ate my bad salad.... Then came my students pizza party! Talk about temptation. We had a birthday party yesterday with a big sheet complete with the frosting I love. The cake was ok I don't have a sweet tooth. Pizza was hard!!! It smelt so good as I shoveled out pieces with gooey greasy cheese on each child's plant. I washed my hands so I wouldn't even be tempted to "lick". Then after being annoyed with all of that... I came home to find that my puppy has ruined my ugg at some point this morning. Bright spot... The dinner I just whipped together has turned into one of my most favorite yet. Steal fajitas To go with the noddles.... shrimp stir fry Cookbook vs. my version... I think I did okay! haha....?
Pictures of the work in progress,,, Today was back to work and I survived!! The day started off with two eggs with complaint brown mustard, green beans, and a medium tomato. Then for dinner I had Asian style beef with zucchini noodles! Got to use my new spiraler (not sure how you spell that) Also check out my fitbit today!! Went to a kick boxing class that was awesome and I'm always surprised at how active my job is!!! So the start of my day was no good. As noted by my post about my hang over that didn't even post (that's how bad it was). Wow! I thought I wouldn't be a victim of the elusive hangover. I'm not sure why I thought that... ha! Karma.
This is one of my favorite mugs from my co-teacher and it reminded me to embrace the moment this morning even though I did not feel well. In fact, I felt much better after this ice coffee. Coffee is one thing that hasn't been hard for me.. I've been drinking it black for years! Today is technically day one because of my incident with cured ham and bacon. However, other than that I was Whole30 compliant so instead of normal day 1 side effects... I have a day 4 hang over.... I'll keep you posted. I woke up at 11:00, but might need a nap soon gah! You would think I did drink last night..
I'll keep you posted. I'm off you my friends house |
